• Al-Zahraa Journal is a scientific peer-reviewed Journal. It is issued by Al-Azhar University, Faculty of Islamic and Arabic Studies for women, in Cairo. It's specialized in Islamic and Arabic studies including (Fundamentals of Religion - Arabic Language - Sharia - Sharia and Law - Press and Mass Communication). It's a pioneering Journal of its category around the middle east as its first issue was published in 1981.
• Al-Zahraa is a semi-annual journal. It publishes issues on April and October every year.
• The Electronic Standard Numbering of the journal is 2535-2156 and the International Standard Printing Numbering (ISSN) is 1110-3825.
•  It is an accredited journal, and it was highly ranked among scientific journals in the Literary Studies sector by the Supreme Council of Egyptian Universities, obtaining seven degrees out of seven according to the classification of the Supreme Council of Egyptian Universities for the years 2020 and 2021 respectively. It is also indexed in Clarivate's Arabic Citation Index.
