Abstract
This study aims to analyze selected Quranic verses that indicate humility, using a sociolinguistic approach. The research conducts a linguistic analysis of the chosen verses, examining their phonetic, morphological, and syntactic components, along with their social implications and their impact on individuals in society. The study follows descriptive-analytical methodology. One of the key findings is that the Quranic discourse is universal, addressing all human societies. It is a powerful and thought-provoking discourse that touches the hearts, guides people towards the true creed, and promotes noble morals, including humility. The study also highlights various social meanings derived from these verses, such as:The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) serves as the ultimate role model for humility among believers.Close relatives should be prioritized in the call to uphold high moral values.Encouraging young children to memorize the Quran. The necessity for preachers to embody noble ethics. The great importance of kindness towards parents, showing humility, gentleness, and compassion in both speech and actions.Instilling humility in the hearts of children.Additionally, the study emphasizes the role of non-verbal language—such as gestures and body language—in effectively conveying social meanings like humility and gentleness. It also explores how the diversity of syntactic structures in Quranic contexts carries psychological and social connotations.
