Abstract:
The research aims to emphasize that moral values and virtues are constants advocated by all the Prophets، peace be upon them. It also seeks to draw the attention of adherents of the non-revealed religions to the fact that there has never been a nation without a warner. What they believe in and hold now may be fragments of a message from a Prophet sent by Allah - the Almighty - to their nation long ago. In this research، several methodologies have been followed، including the inductive method by examining the moral virtues in ancient religious philosophies and the verses of the Holy Qur'an. Additionally، the comparative method has been used by comparing the moral virtues among these philosophies. The analytical method has also been employed by analyzing texts and highlighting the influence and interrelationship. The research has concluded several findings، including: the innate knowledge of moral virtues; the innate understanding that good is the truth which must be followed because it pleases Allah Almighty، and that evil must be avoided because it does not please Him; moral virtues are constant and do not change، whereas human behavior changes; all ancient religious philosophies agree on moral virtues and their connection to religiosity، which suggests a unified source that may be divine from earlier religions: "there was no nation but that there had passed within it a warner" (Qur’an، 35: 24).
