The Right to Life and Human Development in the Holy Quran: A Goal-Oriented Study on the Fundamentals of Religion

Abstract:
   The right of life in the Qur’an is the highest right for man, and this right is the greatest goal of all laws, so it is necessary to take care of it since its impact on building man is obvious. The research problem consists in two original questions: What is the right to life and human development in the Holy Qur’an? What is the approach of the Holy Qur’an in caring for this divine structure and this human right? The study relies on several scientific approaches, namely the inductive approach, the descriptive approach, and the deductive approach. The research consists of an introduction, a preface, two sections, and a conclusion. The introduction touches on the importance of the topic, the reasons for choosing it, the research problem, its limits, and its methodology. The preface includes the concepts of the title. The first section discusses the right to human life in the Holy Qur’an, and it contains six subsections: the right to life in the texts of the Qur’an, the right of life according to the laws of Almighty Allah in the Qur’an, the right of life in Qur’anic stories, the right to life in Quranic proverbs, the right of life in the Arabic Qur’anic style, and the right to life in the rulings of the Qur’an. As for the second section, its title is ‘Building Man in the Holy Qur’an,’ and it contains five subsections: One of the most important results is that man’s right to a safe, dignified life is one of the main objectives of the Noble Qur’an.
