Abstract:
This research aims to reveal the rhetorical secrets in the sounds of the verses of the story of Queen of Sheba in the Holy Qur’an. The brilliance of sound eloquence shines throughout the entire story—not only in its words but also in the letters and sounds of the verses, both spoken and heard. This reveals the unique impact of each individual sound in its specific place and the appropriateness of each sound to its intended purpose. It also highlights the radiant nuances present throughout the verse. The study uses an analytical, appreciative approach to extract the most prominent sound rhetorical pearls from the story's verses, explaining the intended meaning of each verse and its words, while clarifying the interaction between word and meaning and its effect on the listener. Among the study’s key findings is the illumination of eloquence in the Book of Allah, shining through its verses, meanings, words, letters, and sounds.
