Abstract:
This research aims to shed light on Qur’anic education and its role in shaping the human soul through the "Tarjuman" methodology, which focuses on educating young people, instilling faith-based values within them, guiding them towards excellence in various life aspects, and fostering sound awareness. This methodology is built on two clear foundations, inspired by the Quranic approach and the purified Sunnah of the Prophet (pbuh). The first foundation of this methodology is the verse: “Truly Allah was gracious to the believers when He sent to them a Messenger from themselves, to recite to them His revelations and to purify them, and to teach them the Book and Wisdom, though before they were in manifest error” (Quran, 3: 164). This verse shows that Allah, glorified be He, placed spiritual purification (Tazkiyah) before the acquisition of knowledge and wisdom. Therefore, in applying the Tarjuman methodology, we prioritize purification, considering it alongside the acquisition of beneficial knowledge. The second foundation is the Prophetic method of faith-based education. Through the Tarjuman, which follows the example of the Quranic and Prophetic approaches, we have achieved a significant, tangible improvement in our children's embodiment of virtuous morals, high aspirations, and the formation of balanced, moderate awareness, as our noble religion encourages.
