Abstract:
This research aims to instill moral values in people's minds by highlighting the ethical values in the poetry of Ibn Hamdis al-Siqilli, encompassing various personal, social, and religious aspects. The research is organized into an introduction, a preface, two main sections, and a conclusion. The first section, titled “The Objective View of Ethical Values in the Poetry of Ibn Hamdis,” covers the following topics: personal moral values, social values, national values, and religious values. The second section, titled “The Artistic Expression of Ibn Hamdis in Ethical Value Poetry,” includes discussions on diction and style, artistic imagery, and musical composition. The research methodology is descriptive and analytical, focusing on identifying ethical values in Ibn Hamdis's poetry and analyzing its themes to highlight the ethical and artistic dimensions of his work. In the conclusion, the research presents key findings, including the widespread presence of ethical values in Ibn Hamdis's poetry collection, which is not limited to personal values; rather, he addresses various social issues, stemming from his belief that ethics are the foundation of society. Additionally, the research emphasizes Ibn Hamdis's effective use of heritage, integrating it in ways that support and enhance his ideas.
