Abstract:
Qur’anic studies are the finest and best studies on the face of the earth, especially if they are accompanied by rhetorical studies, since the rhetoric of the Qur’an is the first reason for its inimitability. This study tackles two qualities of the good morals, which are generosity and altruism and shows the difference between them. The study shows the eloquence of the Holy Qur’an when it attributes generosity to Allah - Glory be to Him - and when it attributes generosity to other creatures. The research also deals with the eloquence with which the position of altruism is explicitly worded in the Holy Qur’an, and its occurrence in the form of negation once. It also deals with the eloquence with which the position of altruism is referred to by the connotation of the words in the Holy Qur’an. The study clarifies that every letter and every word in the Holy Qur’an is placed in its context and position, and that it is not appropriate for any other word to fall into its place, even if other words seem to be synonymous. At the end of the research, the conclusion shows that generosity and altruism are two sides of the same coin, which is good morals, and that the Holy Qur’an has established the features of these two qualities and urges us to have them in various rhetorical ways.
