Abstract:
This research aims to clarify the relationships and elements of coherence that link the meanings in the Prophetic hadiths about patience. It aims to reveal the secrets of the Prophetic eloquence that explains to the believer a great quality of the morals of true Islam, which helps the believer to properly implement the method of heaven and raises him to the ranks of the pure elite. As for the research methodology, it applies the descriptive method. It is concerned with highlighting the relationships and elements of coherence between the hadiths about patience by examining the consistency between the meanings and positions of coherence. It is also concerned with tracing these elements between the sentences of a single hadith by examining the verbal connectors and the functional role of the style. Among the results of this research is that the sentences of the Prophet’s hadith about patience are syntactically and semantically consistent and coherent. The meanings are expressed in eloquent structures by using such rhetorical tools as clarification after ambiguity, giving details after succinctness, and gradual elevation of the style, which reveal the fine rhetoric of the honorable Prophetic hadiths.
