Abstract:
The research aims to highlight some of the pedagogical and educational aspects and civilizational values inherent in our Arabic language at its various linguistic levels.  The Arabic scholars‚ especially Ibn Jinni in his book Al-Khaṣā’iṣ (The Characteristics)‚ have been the first to demonstrate the modern educational schools‚ as they have identified meaningful educational aspects and devised innovative teaching methods that have benefited the field of linguistics, and advanced human thought. Al-Khaṣā’iṣ explains the moral and cognitive qualities of the learner and researcher as well as the educational qualities and teaching methods that a teacher must possess to develop students’ thinking and sharpen their minds. Such methods – which were first practiced by Arabic scholars - include hypothetical problems and morphological exercises, which are important methods of modern education. The research shows that the Arabic scholars paid attention to moral and social values as well as the psychological, doctrinal, and legal aspects when they set rules, cite opinions, and give justification for their preferences. It also shows some human values deduced from morphological issues that agree with the values of our true religion, such as justice, moderation, rejection of extremism, positivity of movement and negativity of stillness.
