Abstract:
     This research aims to demonstrate the importance of preserving the endowment funds by investing them in legitimate ways that allow directing their returns to confront deviant intellectual and moral behaviors and enhancing awareness of intellectual security. The importance of this topic arises as a result of the erosion of the endowment funds due to inflation and financial economic crises over time. So, the returns of the endowment funds can be spent on supporting the call to Islam and implementing activities that enhance awareness of intellectual security. The electronic implementation of such activities makes it easy to reach the most needy groups, including users of websites and social media pages. The study also aims at building a conscious Muslim person capable of developing and benefiting his society. The research makes use of the inductive and the analytical approaches to study the research topics in light of Sharia, analyze the scientific material, discuss jurists’ opinions, and determine the preponderant ones. The most important results of the study include the following: Endowment is one of the greatest charity methods that Islam has established to serve society. It is permissible to speculate with endowment funds to preserve and develop their value and to achieve the greatest benefit for individuals and communities. The role of the endowment is not limited to caring for the poor, the needy, but rather its benefit extends to include confronting deviant intellectual and moral behaviors.
