This research aims to explain the importance of morals in the life of the individual and society, as it is the foundation upon which a right society is built, and through it happiness is achieved in both worlds. In this research, which uses the inductive and the deductive approaches, moral deviation has been defined literally and technically, and the difference between morals and behavior has been shown, then the importance of morals has been discussed. This study discusses the causes of moral deviation, the factors for preventing it, and what must be done so that we can correct this moral deviation. The role of the family in developing moral awareness has also been tackled, as the family is the most powerful educational institution for correcting young people and making them aware of the dangers of moral deviation. The conclusion includes the most important results reached through the research, which are summarized as follows: first: calling for having good morals and qualities that Allah commanded in the Qur’an; second: morality is the adornment of man, and its spread leads to good, and deviation from it leads to evil; third: there are many reasons that lead to moral deviations including social, psychological, and economic factors, leisure, love of worldly life, and forgetting the afterlife.
