Abstract:
This research aims to explain the causes of moral deviation and its negative effects that extend from the individual to society, as well as to explain the therapeutic means for moral deviations in the light of the Holy Qur’an. It also highlights the concept of moral deviation and how it is addressed in the Qur’an, which refers to the first time this perverted behavior has appeared in this universe, its transformation from an individual phenomenon into a social problem with multiple forms and justifications. The study gives an explanation of the reasons for this deviation, which is exasperating and increasing from one generation to another. The study, which counts on the inductive, deductive, and analytical methods, discusses two examples of moral deviation: the people of Lot, as well as contemporary homosexuals (LGBTQ+), and it explains the reasons for choosing them as a model. Among the results reached through this research: The Holy Qur’an contains the ideal treatment for preventing moral deviation, which is a departure from sound human nature. It is necessary to take a positive stance in the face of any deviation that occurs in society, and to strive to defend religion. Human deviation should not be a means of spreading moral corruption, whether by using modern means or by abandoning correct traditions and good nature.
