Abstract:
Since the earliest days of human life on earth, people have believed in standards and measures for human behavior, which have been translated into ethical values that humans uphold in the hope of achieving a balanced and healthy society. Humanity's discovery of these values through the exercise of reason paved the way for receiving divine messages sent by Allah as religions for mankind. Religion thus emerged as a divine framework to evaluate human actions and relationships, relying significantly on various moral, spiritual, and even material values, beyond the moral value system previously established by humans. Humanity has also sought to find points of connection between the moral system derived through reasoning, trial, and error, and the spiritual and religious values conveyed through the religions advocated by Allah's Prophets and Messengers to guide people. This research explores the convergences between religions and moral systems by employing analysis and inductive examination of philosophical views and religious texts. The study concludes that the concept of awareness is essential for individuals to connect religion and ethics through understanding, comparison, and alignment. As a result, religion becomes an ethical component, and ethics emerge as a divine and spiritual value.
