Abstract:
This research aims to emphasize the importance of successful institutional work and the foundational principles required for its sustainability. Among these foundations is ethics, which is a core Islamic pillar and a vital element in institutional work, necessary for the well-being of individuals and societies. Ethics are so essential that they are almost obligatory. It is well-known that the practical application of ethical behavior by institutions and individuals, as prescribed by Islam, positively impacts the individual, professional, and leadership levels within institutions, as well as the societal and international levels. The study stresses the need for a balanced approach between adhering to Islamic ethical values and keeping pace with modern advancements and changes within institutional work. The research employed descriptive and inductive methods to clarify the concepts of ethics, institutional work, and work ethics. The study's key findings include that adherence to Islamic ethical standards in institutional work fosters a healthy environment conducive to success, encouraging creativity and innovation. It also emphasizes the need for every institution to adopt a professional ethical charter that serves as a reference, regulating behavior within the institution and minimizing undesirable actions.
