Abstract:
Patience and steadfastness in upholding good morals are strongly emphasized in Islamic teachings. The Prophet's life and the conduct of his companions reflect this commitment, which fostered trust in Islam, made people feel at ease with Muslims, and assured them in their dealings with them. This steadfastness, unaffected by changing circumstances, was evident even in political dealings with both Muslims and non-Muslims. Such consistency should extend to all aspects of a Muslim's life—at home, work, in society, and among friends and family. Recently, ideas - often clashing with Islamic values - promoting self-care in moments of sadness, anger, or frustration have emerged. The ability to post under pseudonyms online has led many to display behaviors on the internet that they would not show to those who know them personally. Using an inductive, demonstrative, and analytical approach, this research explores the causes of this inconsistency and the means to address it. It aims to remind Muslims of values aligned with their way of life, benefiting society as a whole. The study reaches a definitive conclusion: emulating our Prophet (pbuh) illuminates the hearts and paths of those who follow.
