Abstract:
The success of any work undertaken by a person greatly depends on their focus. Since the Prophetic Sunnah aims to achieve the welfare of people, it includes guidance on focus and encourages it, albeit under different terms. Without a doubt, professional focus begins with concentration on work in general, which is also part of cultivating good character. The research methodology included the inductive approach to gather relevant hadiths and a critical analytical approach to interpret them. The main objectives of the research are to compile hadiths that encourage excellence in work and consistency, no matter how small the task, and to emphasize the importance of intention and purpose in one's actions. Additionally, the study gathered hadiths that highlight focusing on worship during times of tribulation or distractions, as a way to cultivate focus. One of the most significant findings of the research is that the Sunnah encourages enduring certain difficulties during work. The Sunnah also emphasizes focus at work through numerous texts praising patience and promising reward for abstaining from desires or lawful pleasures at specific times throughout the year (a form resembling dopamine fasting). The biography of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is rich with examples and teachings that inspire and guide individuals to maintain focus in their daily life.
