Abstract:
Women play a vital role in the moral fabric of society, which is why there is often a targeted attempt to undermine them; this stems from an understanding of the importance of their role in safeguarding the true dignity and integrity of the nation. Any negative impact on women subsequently affects men, youth, and children, leading to disruptions—even a breakdown—in moral education and the erosion of many societal values. Therefore, I have chosen to examine Sufi ethics and women’s Sufism and their role in fostering rational awareness. I have adopted a descriptive historical approach to present examples of female Sufis and their roles in education, learning, moral upbringing, and following balanced role models. The ultimate example for us in this is Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), along with his family, companions, and followers. The Quranic methodology is the decisive guide in clarifying the straight path, nourishing intellectual, emotional, and moral capacities. This research paper has reached conclusions highlighting the significance of Sufi ethics in preserving and safeguarding women, achieving tranquility and happiness, thereby enabling them to contribute to building sound rational awareness within their families and communities, and ultimately advancing the nation with a Quranic methodology and prophetic example.
