In light of the increasing cases of divorce in society, this research is aimed to highlight the importance of moral awareness between spouses. If each spouse is conscious of their respective rights and duties toward one another—as well as their shared responsibilities to live together honorably, as Allah says: "And live with them in kindness…"—then each will fulfill their moral obligations, which are foundational to building a staedy marital life. This would lead to marital happiness, embodying tranquility, love, and mercy, as Allah says: “And among His signs is that He created for you mates from among yourselves, that you may find tranquility in them, and He placed between you affection and mercy...” Moral awareness between spouses thus serves as a foundation for a sustainable, happy marriage, free from discord and deception, positively influencing the lives of their children.
