A Vision to Build Rational Awareness through the Story of Moses and Al-Khidr (peace be upon them)

Abstract:
This study aims to shed light on some aspects of the morals and lessons learnt from Quranic stories, with the aim of building rational awareness that builds the individual and elevates the status of society now and in the future. The story of Kaleem Allah (Moses, the Prophet to whom Allah talked) and the righteous servant (Al-Khidr), which was mentioned in Surat Al-Kahf (the Cave), is the subject of this study. Although its incidents were inspired by Allah Almighty, they were intertwined into the lives of people, which makes the morals and the lessons of the events deeper and greater. This story drives man to learn, acquire available experience, follow good examples, and know that he is in constant need of knowledge. Man should know that knowledge and science should only make him more modest. One of the most important results of the study is to show that man is in dire need of permanent evaluation, continuous guidance, and good listening, so that if he makes a mistake - and this is possible - he can benefit from his mistakes, and modify his course; man must accept destiny with submission and patience; man must not judge matters by their appearances, and he should always do good and sow its seeds, for good deeds are never lost.
