Abstract:
The study aims to formulate an Islamic cognitive ethical framework that preserves material gains, ensures the stability of the nation, and achieves its security, prosperity, and progress. This study is based on several fundamental themes, which involve defining the concept of ethics as portrayed in the Quran. Among the most important foundations of building ethical awareness are upbringing of the young, cultivation of conscience, moral obligation, social supervision, role modeling, recovery from psychological defeat, and the impact of ethical awareness on society. The study, which relies on the descriptive and analytical approach, is structured around the distinctive features of ethics in Islam. One such feature is its non-relativity, in contrast to many social systems and philosophical theories which are subject to relativity. This can be attributed to the fact that ethics in Islam interrelate with belief and are based on Sharia. One of the most significant findings of this study is that ethics in Islam are closely linked to belief and Sharia and are inseparable from either under any circumstances. They encompass psychological and social needs, fulfill the physical impulses, and spiritual inclinations. Ethics of Islam are instilled in Muslims since their childhood, eventually becoming a way of life. Thus, the issue of conscience or religious obligation is one of the most essential components of ethics, as it represents the emotional drive to adhere to ethics.
