Abstract:
The importance of this research lies in its revelation of Islam's tolerance and acceptance of religious and doctrinal pluralism, through a comprehensive Islamic perspective rooted in honor and dignity, which shapes Islamic relations and interactions with non-Muslims. Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) provided the ideal example in this regard; his guidance established the foundation for tolerant interactions, ensuring peaceful coexistence regardless of differences in religion or sect, affirming the principle of respecting the humanity of others and safeguarding their basic rights, in both times of peace and war. The methodological foundation of this research is analytical, descriptive, and historical, as the Prophetic experience in this area represents a unique and distinguished model, with its own vision that blends divine commands with human Prophetic application. The research includes a brief introductory overview of the topic, followed by a preface that reveals the origin of relations between Muslims and others. This is followed by two sections: the first discusses the Prophet’s interactions with non-Muslims in times of peace, and the second examines his interactions with them in times of war. A conclusion then summarizes the key findings and recommendations.
