Abstract:
The research aims to highlight the importance of criticism in philosophical thought, to shed light on the efforts of Imam (As-Senousi) in the service of the Islamic faith and doctrine, and explaining his critical tendency and its characteristics with the different sects. The research is divided into an introduction, two topics and a conclusion. As for the introduction, I mentioned in it the reason for my choice of the topic and the research plan. As for the first topic, it is entitled Imam As-Senousi and criticism, in which I introduced Imam As-Senousi and his critical approach. As for the second topic, its title is Imam's critical stances in matters of divinity, such as issues of knowledge of Allah The Almighty, qualities of meanings, vision of Allah The Almighty, exhaltations, deeds of Allah The Almighty, deeds of worshipers. As for the conclusion, it mentions the most important results of the research and its recommendations. In this study, I used the analytical and critical approach. One of the most important results of the research is that Imam As-Senousi is always supporting the Asharites, and opposes Mutazilah in all their beliefs, as well as philosophers in all issues and accuses some of them with atheism, meanwhile, he did not adopt specific position regarding Sufism. Likewise, his critical positions are clear, easy, and far from arrogance in the responses, relying in his way on the Holy Quran, the purified Sunnah, and the rules of logic and thought.
