the study seeks to measure the level of political anxiety among the Egyptian public and find a relationship between the extent of its dependence on targeted news sites and the extent of this anxiety in light of a number of intermediate variables included in the study. The study is considered a descriptive study. The study used the survey method as it is optimal for this study. The study was applied to 400 members of the Egyptian public who depend on targeted news websites and are over 18 years old. The form was distributed electronically to the Egyptian public. Among the most prominent result of the study: The Egyptian public, the study sample, relied on news sites to varying degrees, and follow-up consistently ranked first in the degree of dependence. This dependence was also concentrated during international crises and disasters, and the sample considered it the most cases in which it was exposed to these sites and news sites in general, and it concluded The study showed that there is a statistically significant correlation between the levels of political anxiety of the Egyptian public and the degree of their exposure to news of the conflict in Sudan 2023 on targeted news sites.
