The jurisprudential and ethical consideration of intervention in the human genome in light of the two faculties of self-preservation and progeny preservation
Since reading the human genome is part of a person’s knowledge of himself and his understanding of God’s laws in his creation, it was necessary to look at this reading from a jurisprudential and moral point of view, including it in the context of new calamities that require understanding and imagining their rulings in light of the texts of Sharia that are valid for every time and place, and also need to overcome These rulings go beyond that regarding the rule of moral values over these developments, so this study brings together jurisprudence and ethics - in that each of them investigates human behavior - to address intervention in the human genome (for precaution, treatment, and improvement) in order to extract the relevant rulings. Jurisprudence in the context of its detailed evidence on the one hand, and a statement of the ethical limits that experimental science must not cross in these developments on the other hand. Contemporary, if the concept is one of genomic applications in all its forms, whether precautionary, therapeutic, or ameliorative interventions, or even post-genomic, which is known as extending life or delaying The stage of aging, the wise observer of these developments should keep in mind what these modern technologies lead to, and conduct them on the basis of consequences. We can build on this basis what we can call the ethics of consequences, that is, those moral judgments related to the purposes of genomic intervention,
