Words related to sliting in the Quran: a semantic study

Abstract

The research aims to study the words related to the concept of slits in the Holy Quran, and to study them semantically, indicating their significance in different Quranic contexts, and the impact of sounds on the meaning of slit. The research adopted the descriptive method with its statistical and analytical tools to collect and study the words related to the meaning of slit and its pronunciation in the natural environment and living creatures that are mentioned in the Holy Quran, indicating the sensory and moral meanings in them. One of the most important results of the research was : - The predominance of open sounds in the words of the cleft, which is commensurate with the meaning of the cleft and the separation in them. The research also proved that the arrangement of sounds according to the order of events was evident in some words also proved that the contradiction in the qualities of the sounds was followed by a contradiction in the meaning. The research showed that slaughter is one of the words for cutting animals, and that it is used with humans in the Holy Qur'an in the contexts of testing in the story of Abraham, peace be upon him, and torture in the context of talking about the arrogance and tyranny of Pharaoh . The research proved that one of the miraculous aspects of the Holy Quran is the multiplicity of words related to a single topic, such as slit and its words
