Abstract:
This research aims to highlight the honor and care that the Holy Quran bestows upon women, addressing the injustice they may face and seeking justice for them. It explores the fairness, moderation, and greatness of Islamic legislation in granting financial rights to wives. The study also demonstrates the miraculous nature of the Quran and the suitability of its financial regulations for wives in all times and places. The research follows an inductive-analytical approach. One of the most significant findings of this research is that Quran gives profound concern for women. Among the manifestations of this concern is the removal of all forms of oppression and injustice against women. In the pre-Islamic era, women suffered various forms of injustice, including the violation of their rights to dowry by their husbands or guardians, inequality in their financial provision, and deprivation of inheritance. Moreover, women themselves were considered inheritable property. Islam abolished these injustices, affirmed the wife's ownership of her dowry, prohibited the husband from taking back any part of it, and obligated the husband to provide financial support for his wife. The husband was entrusted with the responsibility of spending on his wife, and the wife was entitled to inheritance. In this way, Islam ensured all financial rights for the wife upon her husband.
