Abstract.
The research aims to analyze the causes in the Quran to understand the context in which the Quran was revealed, to provide correct interpretations and to understand the causes and verify how they are applied in daily life. The research aims to identify the material and moral reasons in the Holy Quran, explore the messages of the Holy Quran that relate to wisdom, meaning and moral guidance. The research uses the inductive and analytical method, by extrapolating the reasons mentioned in some verses of the Holy Quran, writing various interpretations and collecting Quranic verses that talk about the reasons directly or indirectly. The research also relies on the analytical method to interpret these verses. It concludes that the wisdom of Allah requires the creation of causes and results and linking causes with their results and consequences with their precursors. The causal relationship is not limited to cosmic laws and phenomena only, but also includes human and social relations. The research also reveals that the effect of the cause in the result is not inevitable, as it is the divine ability that is entrusted with the effect of the cause in the result and its occurrence or non-occurrence. Trusting and reliance on Allah does not mean abandoning working with the required reasons, you need to do what is necessary, this reflects the feeling of human incompleteness and helplessness, and it has a sense of the absolute perfection of Allah Almighty and His ability. If the believer relies on Allah after practicing his work and duties, then he is free from slavery for the reasons. Practicing work and duties as reasons includes compliance with God's command, and whoever refuses to practice the reasons has opposed Allah's command.
