Department of Creed and Philosophy, College of Islamic and Arabic Studies for Boys in Sharkia, Al-Azhar University, Alaharqeyya, Arab Republic of Egypt Email: AliTijani.sha.b@azhar.edu.eg Abstract The research aims to reveal the place of Ibn Arabi and the status of his book Al-Futuhat Al-Makkiyya, through extrapolation, presentation, and analysis of his stances on mind and science, their status, types, ranks, and methods in his view and in his thought. All of this comes as a first foundational step in a group of upcoming research projects that aim to show multiple aspects of Ibn Arabi's thought. The researcher used induction, presentation, and analysis methods. He came upon a number of results, the most important of which are: The great interest of Ibn Arabi in themind as a reliable way to reach knowledge, taking into account the disparity of minds and levels of understanding, and showing the great status of the people of the mind in the Islamic religion. Moreover, the great interest of Ibn Arabi in science, his concern for it, and respect for scholars in the face of ignorant people and people of suspicions. Reason and science do not contradict religion, and they cannot be ignored or even marginalized. Considering the foregoing results as pillars that can serve as a basis for responding to those who accused Ibn Arabi in his belief and thought.
