Abstract

Absract:
This research aims to highlight the interest of the Noble Quran in human conditions and the preservation of the integrity of relations between them, by clarifying the stance of the Noble Quran on rumors, and the serious danger they pose to the individual and society. The research follows the inductive method, as the researcher traces the verses where rumors are mentioned whether explicitly or implicitly in the Holy Qur’an.
One of the most important findings of this research is that lying and lack of verification of news are the most prominent characteristics of rumor mongers, and sedition among people, and stirring up unrest and disturbances in peace and war, is one of the greatest bad effects of rumors. The Quran enjoined good thought of others and finding out and verifying the news before transmitting it or believing it.
