Abstract

Abstract:
The research tries to shed light on this issue and to clarify the Shariah judgment as regards this practice in order to distinguish what is allowed and what is forbidden in this concern. This research adopts descriptive, analytical, and inductive approach. It is divided into two sections and a conclusion. Some important results are concluded such as that it is permissible to follow inferences from stars in matters of religion such as knowing the direction of the qibla and knowing the times of prayer, and as well in the worldly matters such as determining the suitable routes and destinations whether in land or sea journeys, guiding travelers thus they do not miss the right direction, identifying the most promising times for implanting crops, determining times of lack of rain, and predicting the weather and the time of the eclipse. The duty of the Muslim is not to be influenced by what the astrologers say and to believe and have trust in Allah the Almighty.
