Ar-Razi’s Views on the Imamate Through his Book Al-Arbaeen fi Usul Ad-Din, Collection, Arrangement, and Commentary Wise

Abstract:
This research aims to refute the Rafidah’s claim that Imam Ar-Razi in his book (Al-Arbaeen fi Usul al-Din - the Forty on the Principles of Religion) supports their belief that Ali, may God be pleased with him, is superior to all the Companions, and to highlight his efforts - May God have mercy on him - in defending the Companions, may God be pleased with them, and in refuting the Rafidah's controversial issues and doubts regarding imamate , on which all their beliefs were based. The research follows the inductive critical approach and it includes six main topics related to the issue of Imamate. The most important findings reveal the strong refutation of Imam Ar-Razi for the controversial issues aroused by Rafidah and how he supported the doctrine of Ahl As-Sunnah (the followers of sunnah) in giving precedence to Abu Bakr over the other companions, may God be pleased with them all, and that he is innocent of the accusation of Rafidah, he is far from Shiism and its people.
